How do rate this game compared to Civilization 5 in terms of learning curve? Because I have to admit the idea of these kind of game really interests me, but to me Civilization 5 was quite overwhelming in terms of options, research trees etc.
I would say that it is a lot better as a first pick then a Civ game. The UI is really easy to understand and so are the mechanics. I didn’t see any massive trees or anything that takes hours to understand. It plays quick and the graphics style makes it pretty easy to understand visually as well.
